Better late than never - coverage of CJ Night Tokyo 7. Thought I'd upload before CJ Night Tokyo 8 which takes place around the 18th of June.
CJ Night Tokyo is an event which I host to bring together smart and interesting people who engage others online through the creation of content.
We also bring in the best from the industry to network with the media generators which results in new friendship and business opportunities.
The member list includes folks from Disney Japan, Apple, Nike, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Rakuten, Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya, Cospa, Bushi Road, Nitro Plus, AmiAmi, Obitsu, Volks and more.
Tis an invite only event where members get to bring new people along who then bring their comrades along to the next event. The event has remained invite only to ensure that attendees can participate and know that everybody in the room shares a common interest and passion for sharing content. All members are Twitter users.
Apart from networking, folks get to look at figure, doll or gadget prototypes brought in by the manufacturers and win some of the goodies that they always bring along.
CJ Night Tokyo has been featured on CNET and Crunch Gear and is where Poken Japan officially launched to be one of the hottest social networking devices in Japan. CJ Night is also held outside of Japan and the last one was in Los Angeles. Previous CJ Night reports live here.
CJ Night Tokyo is an event with international attendees where the main language is Japanese. Over 80% of the attendee list are comprised of Japanese locals who are all active media generators on blogs and other social media.
If all the attendees were to write about a certain subject, that message would be instantly disseminated to millions of people worldwide.
My vision is for CJ Night Tokyo to continue to bring like minded talented folks together where new relationships and collaborations blossom.
CJ Night Tokyo 7 took place in collaboration with the Japanese Red Cross Society at their blood donation facility called Akiba:F.
Located right opposite Akihabara station, the facility looks just like a normal building on the outside but like a spaceship on the inside.
The actual section where the blood transfusions take place was closed off to prevent the participants siphoning blood from each other for fun.
T'was the first time that Akiba:F had such an event at their gorgeous facility. If I was to design an office it would look just like Akiba:F!
T'was an honor to have the Acting Chair of the British Council Gerard Lemos attend the event too.
As usual we had a bunch of cosplayers.
Om nom nom nom. Designed to taste like Mirai-chan. The egg is puni puni.
As usual we got a load of gifts to give out through the junken battles.
Akiba:F had their Bakemonogatari theme decorating the facility.
And what better than a load of gorgeous daughters to liven up the event even more.
