Nose Gargle

Tis the season to be jolly in Japan right now - hay fever season where apparently the average hayfever sufferer spends about 20000 yen per season on hay fever goods such as masks, medicines and other weird objects.
Was watching TV the other day (as one does) and saw a commercial for this product - it's called Hana Ugai (nose gargle) and caught my eye because it looks wrong and very painful!
What you do is to pour the stuff up your nostrils where the Hana Ugai liquid is supposed to wash your nasal cavities. Then after a few swishes, you would spit out the schmuck from your mouth... I don't know about you but that just seems wrong to me. Do you have stuff like this where you live?
Anyway, if you are curious to try this out, I would recommend brushing your teeth afterwards to remove any blobs of bogey lodged in between those cavities. Or I suppose you can leave them there for when you dont have time to get a pack of chewing gum.
You can go along to the official Hana Ugai site to watch the commercial and read all about it...
